Q: How do payments work?
A: All payments are handled securely through Stripe, our trusted payment partner. At no point do we have access to your credit card or bank details. Stripe offers a variety of payment options including credit card, debit card, ACH bank transfer, and even Cash App. Rent is due on the date your washer and dryer are delivered, and then on the same date each following month. If payment is not received within 5 days of the due date, a late fee will apply.
Q: When will I receive my washer & dryer after approval?
A: In most cases, delivery is scheduled within 3 business days of your approval. Delivery timing can vary slightly depending on your location and the season, but we always work to get you set up as quickly as possible.
Q: What types of machines do you provide?
A: To keep costs affordable and rental rates low, we provide lightly used machines that have been carefully inspected and certified to meet factory operating standards. Each unit is tested to ensure reliable performance.
Q: Can I choose the exact washer and dryer model?
A: No — we specialize in supplying dependable top-load washers and front-load dryers designed to handle everyday laundry needs. We focus on reliable, simple models without unnecessary “bells and whistles,” so you always get a machine that works.
Q: Do I need hookups already in place?
A: Yes. Customers must have a working washer and dryer hookup, confirmed during the application process. SpinCycle Rentals is not responsible for refunds or adjustments if installation cannot be completed due to inadequate or non-functioning hookups.
Q: What are my responsibilities as a customer?
A: Customers are expected to:
Keep the machines reasonably clean and in good condition.
Use the washer and dryer as intended for household laundry.
Report any issues promptly.
If a machine requires repairs due to lack of normal maintenance or misuse, the customer may be charged for service.
Q: What if the machines stop working?
A: If your washer or dryer needs service due to normal use, we will handle repairs at no additional cost to you.
Q: What happens if I need to cancel?
A: After the 3-month minimum rental period, your agreement continues month-to-month. You may cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice, and we’ll arrange to pick up the machines.
Q: What types of washer and dryer hookups do I need?
A: You’ll need a working washer hookup with:
A hot and cold water connection
A proper drain line
A standard 3-prong outlet (120V) for the washer
For dryers, there are two main types of hookups:
Electric Dryer – Requires a 240V outlet (usually a large 3-prong or 4-prong plug).
Gas Dryer – Requires a natural gas line connection plus a standard 120V outlet.
⚠️ During the application process, we’ll confirm which type you have so we can provide the correct unit. If you’re unsure, just send us a photo of your hookup, and we’ll help verify.
Q: Do I need a dryer vent/duct?
A: Yes. A dryer must be vented to the outside of your home or apartment for safe operation. Customers are responsible for having a properly installed dryer vent/duct in place before delivery.
If you already have a duct, please check that it’s clear of lint and securely attached.
If no vent exists, you’ll need to have one installed by a qualified technician before delivery.
